Description: The Global Advisory Committe on Vaccine Safety (GACVS) reviewed the safety of pandemic (H1N1) 2009 vaccines currently in use. To date, the safety data are reassuring and no unexpected safety concerns have been identified. Ongoing vaccine safety monitoring (pharmacovigilance) is critical, including regular information sharing with WHO by national regulatory and health authorities.
